I have been back at home, in Belfast, for almost 2 weeks now.

My brother picked me up from the airport. Before that, I stood at the baggage carousel waiting for my 3 suitcases to roll on past.

I waited... and waited... and waited.

Not one of my cases showed up!

(Great start, right?)

So, Paddy drove me home... eventually. On the way home, we were on the motorway, a major road, overlooking the city. Cars were zooming past us as we looked at one of the front tires - it was FLAT! Uh-oh!

We were stuck there for an hour or two!

(So far, a great return home!)

We got home, sat down in front of the fireplace and ate Dominoes Pizza. Happy days!

As I rushed to get home from Sweden (family reasons), I didn't really have the time to say all my goodbyes in the way I would liked to have said them.

Now, I'm home, running around seeing old friends, having real pints of Guinness and I am only beginning to appreciate the experience that I just had living in your country!

I don't know if I have said it enough but I care about you all and will miss you all dearly.

I will never forget the great memories we shared together; practices at Teg, travelling to away games, team building at Megazone or Elin's house, and, of course, the surprise day out on my birthday!

I am so grateful to have met you all. You have helped me develop as a coach, learn as a teacher, and improve as a person. I have never met such a group of kind, self-less, considerate, welcoming people.

Thank-you for an amazing year.

I hope I will see you all soon - either in Sweden or Ireland!
